Very often, in our hyper-cerebral world, where we need to be constantly vigilant about deadlines and threats, we disconnect from and neglect the body – the very vehicle that the mind lives in. Equally, we sometimes push our bodies to its limits, sitting in a hunched position in front of our computers and forget that simple movement is what makes us happy and gives us new ideas. Yoga, with its ancient wisdom, provides the happy medium to connect mind and body through the breath. 

 

Mo is an experienced yoga teacher, teaching all levels of yogis, but happiest teaching beginners. He integrates valuable life-lessons into the yoga practice, giving yogis a sense of well-being, harmony and balance. He can be booked for 1-on-1 practice, or a group practice at mutually convenient locations. 

 

Mo can also integrate life-coaching into the yoga practice. These practices are specifically designed to provide the yogi a set of tools that can be used to better deal with life’s challenges, or question life’s choices or improve life outcomes and happiness. 

Mo's yoga practice blends ancient wisdom with modern expertise. Certified by YogaWorks (New York, 2011) as a Teacher Trainer, and by Sebastian and Murielle (2017) as a Yin Teacher Trainer, Mo guides practitioners of all levels to unite mind, body, and breath.

I began yoga with Mohammed feeling physically stiff, mentally scattered, and spiritually disconnected. I had heard wonderful things about his classes, and I decided to give it a try. Through his gentle guidance, I noticed a huge improvement in my flexibility and strength. Mohammed tailored the classes to meet my needs, and soon I was able to move my body in ways I hadn’t imagined.

Mo’s Yoga classes are inspirational and have a meditative quality to them. His focus on alignment and Vinyasa has something for everyone-beginners as well as experts. He gently guides us towards complex poses through supports and cues. 

Under Mo’s expert guidance I finally managed to do a supported headstand which was eluding me for a long time!
